We love our Uncle Jordy!

This three kiddos sure do love their Uncle Jordy.  Tanner and Jordan have been best buds forever!!  As for Kennedy and Maddex- Jordy sure knows how to put a smile on their cute faces. 

We made these matching shirts for all of them before Jordan left. Jordan took his shirt on his mission with him, ya know to show off his SUPER cute niece and nephews.

Today was the day.  Our parents dropped Elder Finn off at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah.  All of us siblings were not able to go but according to my parents, he was ready and anxious.  Jordy has always been such a great example to all of us and the choice he made to serve a mission for the next 2 years is not surprising.  My parents said he wanted to eat at Chick-Fil-A (a family favorite) for lunch before they dropped him off.  They then had some extra time and spent it talking in the Provo temple parking lot.  They said it was a good experience because Jordan was so excited which may make the transition easier for the rest of us.

The Farewell

Jordan gave his "farewell" talk in Church this past Sunday.  He did such a great job and I believe he even wrote his own talk. He talked about faith and how having faith in trials can help us to become the person that God wants us to be come.  How trials help to make us who we are destined to be. 

After his talk, his parents had a lunch-in for all of those who attended his talk and for people to wish Jordy good luck.  We were all in awe at how many friends Jordy had that came to support him on his new adventures.  Here are some pictures from that fun day!

 Our parents made some great food and there was tons of it! There was everything from bbq chicken sandwiches to soup, chips and dips, fruits, veggies, cookies, cake balls, and cinnamon twists just to name a few.
